ocean

By steven winters

The fear stabs into me as i stand transfixed

The waves fight one another to be the first to sweep me away  into the endless swirling grey water

My feet sink into the wet sand holding me in place

I scream out my mothers name but the waves trap my voice

I am blind in the churning swell forgotten and alone

Sounds like a small child going through a frightening ordeal at a beach. Very well worded.
