Siren

By Woes of a Succubus

Hollow eyes,
Mirror overcast skies,
A mermaid tail,
With shimmering scale,
Parted lips,
Blow cursed kisses to ships,
Uttering haunted songs,
Beckoning the dammned,
In hypnotized throngs,
Oh strong youths,
Come to me,
For I hold truths,
Only I can see,
Lust courses through thy veins,
Like wild horses fight their reins,
Starlight eyes,
Voluptuous curves,
Hiding the lies,
The purpose my being serves,
Now don't look back,
For its too late,
The constraint you lacked,
Will be your fate,
Your ship is gone far out to sea,
They warned you not to come to me.
Regard the wise and the old,
Tis' why they live,
And tales be told,
The sensuous face becomes pale,
And a sharp edge to evr'y scale,
Enchanting smile warped with fangs,
And sensuous hair now limply hangs,
You are mine alone to slay,
Show no mercy to my prey,
Lude wine,
Turns to bile,
Terror divine,
Lights my smile,
So beware my song,
And seductive stare,
Don't listen too long,
Or approach my lair,
That you may grow old,
And live to tell,
How you escaped the siren,
And therefore Hell.

Wow, oh my god, this is amazing!!! The imagery from the very start grips you and wont you go. THIS is why i love poetry. All the things you can make out of simple words, are by no means simple anymore. GREAT for your first post. Please, im lookin for more:)
