Sound of Stillness
By Sin Amor
I look to the unwitting sting of your eyes.
I turn towards the listless
sound of your voice.
Sound of passionate slumber in an irredescant
calm.
Sound of your approach.
Call my name through the
shadow.
Scream untill your face grows red from strain.
Cry until
your tears are laden with blood.
It will not be enough.
Turn
away from me.
I will find peace in Death,
As i have found myself
through pain and sorrow.
Is it any wonder i cant sleep?
Is
it any wonder i found peace in you?

interesting how listless and stillness, spelled with the same letters carry a highly similar meaning.. this place obviously shadowed ,at night seems to be placed at a hospital bed side or house room..and you watching the last hours tick down.. there was a great relationship between the characters here.. and the separation is intense.. this piece really caught my thinking.. held me in its crux of lamentation.. the bloody screams and cry.. dribbled weeps.. abstract slight indeed though.. I can always be wrong.. but what I saw was a well thought out poem....welcome to dp..hope to see more of ya
