The one Thing...

By Ocean of Truth

Single
Solitary
Like a man in the desert with no shadow
I have waited for so long in this dust
Waiting for nothing but my confinement
And this isolation is driving me crazy

Crazed visions and paranoia clot my brain
And I feel an aneurysm coming on
And my vision turns red daily
(This heat is overwhelming)

I nail myself to this wall
Without even thinking about it

And as the paddles hit my chest
I feel myself return to my body
And happiness fills me
(Anxiety and Idiocy were just symptoms)

Through the cloud of confusion
I feel your chilled fingertips enclose me
My soul, pulses in your tender grip
(And I withdraw no longer)

Safety in your arms
Love in your eyes

But no matter what you give me
I'll always need just one thing

You...
