Depression has a New Expression

By Ocean of Truth

My hands clasped tightly around your neck
So comfortable and natural
I tighten my grip, my hands easily overlap each other now
I want you to feel how I feel
Chest caving, lungs gasping
There is serenity in this moment
When we finally see eye to eye

It wasn't that bad for me!
(but for you it seemed painful)
Lost and alone
(you left me here to rot)
You left me
(I should've cut this beasts head off long ago)
I left you for a short while
    (at least I felt regret)
For you it seemed so easy
    (For me it never has)

I was lost then found
Tossed to the ground
And played with by a kitty
Like a little ball of string

I'll try to keep you here now
But soon I will vow
To kill you inside and out

Unless my love is appeased
    (I've been on my knees)
I feel like I can just shout

I feel a new kind of feeling
    (The feeling of reeling)
At the thought of me without you

So once again,
this must come to an end

Me all alone (even at home)
Rotting inside,
Underneath
your watchful
eye
