Reread Curses

By Doomy_One

How am I still lost?
Newness sated me
For a minute.

Old hats expose the wearer.
What am I running from?
Me again.

Fuck me.
Please.
Obliterate me.

Am I really a light covered in shit?
Lately I reflect as lead, blood, and glow worms.
Awash in a sea of pretentious corpses.

I hope the light
at the end
is an oncoming train.

I hope the silver lining
is fulminate mercury
in the water supply.

I hope the greener grass
is radioactive
and dead.

I hope
I don't hope
again.
