Memory Remains

By izzynichole

My Hearts Breaking And It Feels Like I Cant Breathe

I Watched You Walk Away, You Let Go With Such Ease

My Mind Races And I Wanna Yell For You, I Cant

My Voice Is No Longer Mine As I Start To Cry It All Out

The Way You Just Let Go And Left Has Me Freaking Out

I Wonder If You Ever Really Cared For To Start With

My Body Aches For Your Touch, My Heart Yearns For You

So Many Times You’ve Done This But Your Not Coming Back

This Time I Know Its For Real, This Time I Know Its Done

In Time I’ll Accept It, In Time I’ll Be Okay And Move On

With Tears Streaming Down My Face, Hugging Me Knees

I Whisper To Myself “How Can You Just Walk Away?”

That’s The One Thing I’ll Never Know, Unanswered Questions

My Mind Seems To Shut Down With Your Thought, Still I Cry

It Still Seems Your What I Need, What I Want, What I Lost

The Easiest Thing For Me To Do Now Is Just Let Go But Your Memory Remains.
