Beauty in death and fear
By serenesavage91
Beauty in death and fear
as the sun melts and the sky darkens,
so does the warmth of your skin.
when the moon dissapears and
the wold freezes over,
your eyes are the emptiness within.
The stars rain down, fires are set,
devouring the world we know.
frost on the clouds, flames on the ground
beauty in the death of
our homes.
Creatures cry and the ground shudders,
quakes
knock us off of our feet.
Thunder rolls, and lightning strikes,
Illuminating the tears on you cheeks
the cold of a snowstorm,
deaths freezing hand,
has nothing on the ice in your soul.
The
sky cracks open, pouring out blood,
flooding the valleys and towns
trees catch fire, begin to fall,
Ashes float through the air,
painting our skin, graying our hair,
creeping into our lungs.
You crack a smile, bare black teeth,
you hands form into claws,
your laugh at the sky is the last thing i hear,
as you spill
my blood in the street.

wow, there is something about this.. All of your imagery supports itself because it is so vivid.. there is real meaning behind the words... you can sense the passage of time, the darkening mood.. Like grey clouds overhead... Bravo

If media-flash-imagery captured the woes of the world and put them down in verbal expression littered with the intensity of the human factor....it would look like this, thank you for sharing!

WOW! The visual art in these words is inspiring. I rarely come across works that have such visual content in the words themselves. Great write. Welcome to DP and write on:)
