Dear Daddy

By DiesIrae

"You'll never be good enough"
"Why can't you be like them"
Words
Like daggers
Spewing vemon in my face
Sticks and stones can break me
And things you say can hurt
Sadistic
Walk away
Cover my ears and you'll disappear
Destroy the little girl
She grows strong, but numb to love
Smile
Masked pain
Never whole again

this is just a sad reminder of parental abuse... words are the weapons used on the innocent... especially from the ones who should be the protectors... this is powerful! ~worm~

Such a sad piece. Obviously a man who doesn't know how precious little girls are. This makes my heart ache. Hopefully letting this out will give you a bit of comfort.
