Waiting in your dreams

By DiesIrae

We'll turn off the lights, my dear
I'll sing you a lullaby
Close your eyes and drift to sleep
Listen to my peaceful sigh
Feel my hand upon your brow
As I brush the hair away
Hear the Angels humming now
And the words in which I say
I'll take you on a journey
Of unimaginable bliss
Just let go and drift away
With my final goodnight kiss
The land of dreams and nightmares
Is the place that we will go
A sunset beach with clouds and gulls
Or a graveyard draped in snow
You never looked so handsome
Than when your hand's in mine
In this land of make-believe
We can stop the hands of time
Even when we're miles apart
When the sun is overhead
In your dreams is where I'll be
So close your eyes and come to bed
