Science
By theXkevorkian
I gaze into the nights sky
lights hovering over me
satellites whizzing by
as some stellar star
is burning out
it twinkles
then the last wink
it happened
maybe
a thousand years ago
it just took that long
to get here
makes me ask the questions
how do we know they are real?
its not something I feel
how do we know
that we aren't in
some
glass topped bottom
of some sub atomic
peatry dish
and those stars
in the nights sky
aren't some distant LED
growing faint
and then twinkling out
because some scientist
just pulled the switch
because for all that you have witnessed
this was fed from me to you
and you to me
by the media
and the brainwash factories
Just lil something to make you
think

wow, really cool piece.... I thought about it like universes being membranes... maybe the same rules apply throughout... also brings to mind where human intelligence comes to a limit.. do we seek divine intervention.. I really like this suggestion of philosophy in science fiction.
