What Have You Done

By The Silent Pendulum

You've cursed me with this evil solitude
Pushed back my love for you

And nothing, no reasons were presented before me
So I sit and I die as slowly but surely
As the day you said goodbye

But wait, I am mistaken
Your lips never formed those foul tasting words
You left me alone on your steps while I cried

But then I composed and wandered the earth
Its empty streets at night
They held me close
While no one tried to console
This broken heart inside

Because I said I love you
And you never said Goodbye

oh, the disparity of rejection, or feelings not returned. This happened to flow rather nicely, and the rhyme scheme didn't feel forced at all...it was a pleasant treat. Well done.
