TrIckz of the minD

By foreverNalways

 Today I saw something Beautiful
You walked on by me Darling
The smell of you perfume entranced me
How I wanted to confront you
Ask for your name
But sense got the best of me
And I kept you in my head instead.

How I wish that I could have taken notice in what you really were.

The next time I saw you
You knocked the wind out of me
Ran into me in the school halls
Before I knew it, I was love struck
With someone I did not know.

How I wish that I could have taken notice in what you really were.

After that I couldn't stay away from you
Even though I tried to do whats right
I was pulled in by your Beauty
It drove me lose to insane
I never wanted to leave your side.

How I wish that I could have taken notice in what you really were.

All the time we spent together
Every memory remains in my heart
But slowly yet sure enough
You began to break my heart
Pointed out ever flaw, that I have
Discarded my emotions
Let me drowned in tears.

How I wish I could have taken notice in  what you really were.

Even though you hurt me
I stayed right by your side
Two and a half years goes quickly
When your blind from sight
All the times you cheated
I forced myself to look away
Even when the cut marks on my flesh
Would not fade away.

How I wish I could have taken notice in what you really were.

It's been three long months without you
Since you left me here to die
But even though I feel worthless
I'm getting stronger without you by my side
It kills me to think about you still
But only because I loved you
Maybe I still do
But no matter what
I'll never go back to you.

Now I see you for who you really are.
