The Virus

By Daryl Bracken

How the Virus came to be is debatable
Was it created or just a natural event?
No one knows for sure
The Virus destroys Every thing it touches
It Consumes everything in it's path
It multiplies  without restraint
The Virus leaves Noticeable scars
it's waste is toxic and unending
It even kills it's own kind
If the Virus was eradicated
in time all traces of it would fade
All memory of it would be forgotten
The Virus has no endearing qualities
It feels no remorse as it destroys
The Virus has a name

This Virus is called "Man"
