Rage of the Zombie

By DarkPaladine

Rage of the Zombie

It sits deep in the dark its eyes burn like two fires . Your rage and anger is it's only desire.                             It sits waiting for someone to push you around, Then out it comes with a leap and a bound.                             In the time it is out and is in control  things you say and do make you wish you were out on the road.         You said things to your boss you wish you had not said an you told your girlfriend and friends that you wish they were all dead.                                                   You smashed your computer and your cell phone is dead and the intense pain your in is inside your head. The zombie who sits deep down inside makes you wish that you could just die.                                           You beat up your family and killed the neighbors dog, and now your on the run from the state law.              Soon you are caught and they put you away and deep down inside you can still fill the zombies rage.            After awhile he will get quite and hide.                        They will think you are cured and let you back outside. But don't you forget that he is still deep down inside, And when he reappears someone else is going to die. You can face the zombie if you dare, All you need is a mirror  and into it you just stare. So don't be afraid of what you will see there is a zombie for us all even you and me.

Thank you for your kind words. The Zombie sleeps in us all and is always ready to fight and kill when pushed into it. I have met mine once to often
