I wish you all the best

By Qurious

I really don't want to leave, but I think I have to go
Maybe I'm wrong but there's things that only i know
So many of you write of pain and hurt and loss
I just wonder if you truly know
What pain your loss could cause

You feel hopeless and depressed
The world would be better off
Speaking from the other side,
Your loss comes to us at great cost

Forever, I will feel the hurt, the anguish
all-consuming.
fear.
The raw grief and torture
Wonderment at the wreckage!
So selfish. No one is better off, my dear.

Except you, maybe.

I just can't do this anymore, it's getting far too hard
I used to think I loved the dark, it gave me a place to hide
But now the dark only holds the ghosts
Of monstrous selfish acts
I thank you all for your friendship, and I wish you all the best.

Goodbye DP.

i couldn't read about people wanting to end their lives on here anymore. a friend's fiance had committed suicide and I was the one the police brought her to. i couldn't read about the selfish things people were thinking of doing. they weren't considering what effect there is on other people when they commit suicide. i couldn't be "surrounded" by that anymore :)
