Powers In The Pen

By Kittykat

I am a warrior poet,
There's powers in my pen,
Words can be mightier,
Than ten thousand men.

Paper is my instrument,
When you hold it in your hand,
Words I've written on it,
Become my special brand.

Letters strung together,
Form words that make you dream,
They can crush you like a rock,
Or describe things you've never seen.

I can compose stories,
That you can't put down,
Plots that will make you smile,
Horrors scare and make you frown.

The emotions are my battlefield,
Pretty phrases that make you cry,
Or I could write a romance novel,
Draw you in and make you sigh.

Written words that wake the senses,
Make you hot with written delights,
You'll never forget my sentences,
As your blood runs hot at night.

You will feel my power,
As you read between the lines,
Making love to your senses,
The magic in the rhymes.

There are so many ways,
To interpret all my quotes,
Maybe you can solve the puzzle,
In this written note.

I'll relate with your emotions,
By pulling your heart strings,
Make you feel a little better,
With happily ever after things.

Now I've got you thinking,
Playing in your mind,
My words are making connections,
Strung together in the rhyme.

Don't ever underestimate,
The power of written words,
They can bring you passion,
With the use of just one verb.
