Skies

By SeventhCircle

The world seems calm
But deception reins supreme
Thunder's on the horizon
But the skies are clear

Sex crimes
Death crimes
Theft crimes
Heart crimes

The skies will never be the same again

Morality's taken a road trip
And god is dead
I don't really care anymore

I'm sick of the sex
Sick of the death
The theft
Where are our hearts?

It was beautiful
And now it's gone
The darkness takes hold
Where are the skies?
