Broken

By SeventhCircle

Something went wrong
But my soul was blind
And the sour note was hidden by the symphony

There can't be a God
I can understand death
But life can be a curse too

Was it him?
Tears cannot hide my anger
And rage will twist away all pretense

I smile
I cry
She laughs
She cries

He took it away
He had no right
Why can't it be right again?

Life is truly a curse

I like how this piece kind of jumps around but keeps the same feel and idea the entire way through. It's almost song-like.

oook... for all of you out there who know me, this was a situation that was hypothetical and inspired by a dream, so don't get any ideas...
