Dreamer

By Organized_Chaos

I still feel like I’m dreaming,
I wonder if this life is right,
But I continue on living,
Wishing that it would all end tonight.

It’s all because of you,
This path that I travel,
I get twisted and confused,
Hoping that it will all soon unravel.

Your mind screams for the light,
As I struggle to become whole,
I pray to Jesus Christ,
To piece together my soul,

Your lips were poison,
My love was strong,
We lived in sin,
Knowing that it was all wrong.

You caught cupids arrow,
And threw it back at him,
Now I have to share your sorrow,
As my light grows ever so dim.

I’ve come to a fork in the road,
As I sketch my own path,
In this art book my mind grows old,
And I suffer through my own wrath.

It’s all because of you,
This path that I travel ,
Now I know what to do,
Become but dust in the gravel.

Sadness prevails in this. It's a really good piece. The flow and rhyme are good. I just don't want you to turn to dust though please.
