Four season's promise

By Scorn Me

You promised me that
When the summer comes
We will sit down together
Watch the swans swimming

You promised me that
When the autumn comes
We will come back together
Watch those swans leaving

You promised me that
When the winter comes
we will be warming each other
Waiting for those swans coming

You promised me that
When the spring comes
We will wake up together
Waving Hello those swans returning

But you didn't keep it

I watched you and swans swimming
I watched you and swans leaving
I waited for you and swans coming
I'm waving Goodbye those swans as you didn't return

A very sad progression. Last 5 lines wrapped this up nicely. A very lonely piece to read.
