Time

By AnGeLbLuEyEs1201

Time stands still
just a moment or two
the house is quiet
no one around for miles
she walks into the bedroom
puts a box on the bed
she has a lot to do
time is not on her side
he will be home soon
she packs her clothes
just an hour left
she trys to hurry
thirty minutes pass shes almost done
then a car door slams
she knows she has to run
but she doesnt know where to go
the front door flys open
she never saw it coming
as he slams her to the floor
she tries to scream
but his hands are around her neck
she tries to push him off her
but hes too big for that
theres nothing more she can do
she starts to close her eyes
she knows this is the end
as she starts to cry there is a loud bang
and the hands around her neck fall
she opens her eyes
there stands her sister in the doorway
hands shaking with the gun
time was on her side today
for just a moment or two

Wow gripping. This kept me wondering what would happen next and the ending was a surprise. Nice job.
