wishing hoping aching

By thornyrose

Opening my eyes
in the morning light
sighs escape lips
wishing hoping aching
i hadnt woke this day
thoughts runing thru my mind
why did i make it thru the nite?
wishing hoping aching
that sweet dark angel
would have come to me last nite
to give me solace
wishing hoping aching
silent crys escape my lips
as tear stained cheeks sting
soul tormented by secret demons
wishing hoping aching
knowing i have to breath now
hoping i can muster the strength
to get thru this wretched day
wishing hoping aching
that tonite, just maybe
he will come to me
that dark angel of mine
wishing hoping aching
for him to welcome me
take me admist his wings
embracing me tight
wishing hoping aching
that he will finally hear my pleas
that he will finaly come for me
to take me home where i belong
