Luckier than others

By DarkPaladine

My wife and I and our three dogs are luckier
than most othres. We did what others did and
got out of the way of that very bad weather.
We traveled in a line of cars that did not
move all that fast. We paid for that trip
with high prices in gas.
We stopped in towns along the way and some
folks to us were kind,But they were glad to
see us leave as we got back into that long
car line.
In some towns we stopped in we
found the hotels had no more room,Getting
back into my car made me feel like we had met
our doom.
We traveled on up the road to the place we
were to stay. The folks here opened up their
homes to us and did not make us go away.
We were givrn rooms and food and done so free
of charge. These good christian folks have
hearts os very large.
And now the time has come when we must now
return. The one thing that I have learened
is that my wife and I were luckier than
others.
