Long Hours Hard Work

By DarkPaladine

Long hours and hard work that is what it will
take to show the folks of the world what it
takes to make this state great.
Katrina came through and hit us hard and set us back aways. But we will rebuild and make
a life for hard work is what it will take.
We lost homes and cars and lots of things
along the way.But we will rebuild with long
hours and hard work and a spirit of hope.
The Gulf Coast is our home and this is where
I plan to stay, and I be dammed if I am going
to let a Hurricane chase me away.
My home is gone and so is everything else but
you see that is ok.
With long hours and hard work I will rebuild
and replace what was taken away. I am from
Mississippi and I am proud to say that with
long hours and hard work I will make my home
here again some day.
So let the storm winds blow and the storm
surge flow and come again some day. With long
hours and hard work I plan to rebuild with my
family here on the Gulf Coast for here we
plan to stay.
