silence

By darkcoldplace

the subtle sound of silence
slowly creates a deafening roar
it creeps from the cracks in the door
comes down with the draft from the windows

the silence surrounds and smothers me
and i sit; suffocating in the stillness
i think: i cannot live here; in this hell
i want nothing else; noone else

i dont want another day
i dont want another useless attempt
i want to be left alone; forever
the silence of being alone, is killing me

a scream erupts from somewhere in my mind
it cries for the bottle, for the numbness
it cries for a bullet, for the relief
it cries for the blade, for the blood
it cries for you, for the pain
