My heart, It bleeds for you...

By Enough

Wild words of sorrow

Escape your once locked lips

You hug me like you'll never let go

When you used to scream and kick

And my heart, it bleeds for you

I wish I could help you now

To save you from this hurt

But I just don't know how

I've been there before

I've got all the scars to show

Razor blades have loved me

And I've loved them back you know

It is so hard, I understand this

When all you've got is steel

It can be all you want

When pain is all you feel

Darling, I still have the thoughts

Just about every day

To slice my skin with box cutters

And watch it bleed away

But it can be so much better

I promise if you try

But only when your ready

No longer asking why

When you feel like letting go

I'm not saying it wont be hard

But honey, I swear you're not weak

Whatever you choose, your strong

Even if you hate the mirror

You've got to at least trust yourself

Because the person staring back

Really needs your help

You can only end this when you want to

Or you'll always turn back to the blade

I hope the best for you Honey

Regardless of the choice you make

I'll be there when you need a friend

My shoulder will hold your tears

Know that I want the best for you

Remember that I'll always care

I can not tell you to stop

But I ask you to be safe

Judging you or lecturing you

Just isn't my place

I love you even when

You feel so very alone

Never feel like a stranger

With me, you've got a home...
