Claustrophobe (a): A castle inside

By Kurashu

This absent place surrounds and embraces
yet refuses to exist
except as phantom in my soul

A house of low culture
that shines black sun rays across the sky
this place where all doors are locked
and all windows are barred

Ancient beyond all belief and devoid completely of life
this mansion is haunted
my torments roam the deserted hallways
lurking in shadows around every corner
never resting on dust covered beds in abyssal rooms

Darkness is real and darkness is deadly
here despairs aims not to impair
but to release its many forms and breed
to breath decrepit life into Castle Obsidian
my loneliness is physical and it is consuming

This absent place is nonexistent
yet enthralls absolutely
binding tight souls by corridors and chambers
which were never forgotten but never remembered
a house of low culture that leaves all who enter utterly alone

This is amazing. I wish I had ever written anything as eloquent.
