The Ancient Dance

By MABUS

The colors of the tribes elder masks
Dancing through my amber mind
Blood of the sacrifice does drip like rain
Dancing off my finger tips
Chant and chant do we
Around the holy fire
Springing from our circle
Like divine purity cleansing our souls
The dance of the old Gods
Pumping satisfaction through our veins
And cold knowledge of ancient things
Doth creep slowly up our spines
Faster...faster we do dance
Louder...louder we do chant
Till the orgasm of our minds all at once
Does spread the shroud for tis but a moment
We do see God and he smiles
All is cleansed
