Chapter 12 The Vengeance of the Snow Lily

By Henry Coldnight

She is not about to
just remain here
frozen
and watch them
tear the world apart
waiting for
a Rich Prince
like some kind of Princess.

-She will make them pay for what they did to Mr. Bear-

As if it was possible,
wings of ice-barrier
bowed to her will;
retreated behind her,
without completely disappear.

Slowly she walked,
beared with the wings.

Here, the hero had fallen.
The sword,
with its tip buried
in a block of ice.

The young snow-angel removed [her sword]
effortlessly from the stoned snow.

And then she remembered
[everything] now; she is no longer
that lively little girl,
who used to like snow:

Her body grew tall...

A proud princess of ice
now stands in her place,
standing against her
melancholic fate.

Her eyes were sharp,
and painful to watch;
she gazed without
a focus.

Her heart
as pure, as cold as ice.

Armor plates of true ice formed
on top of her short gown of snow
and chain mail of frost.

Same material were her shoes and greaves,
gloves and bracers,

chest armor covered the front and bared the back [for the wings],
the shoulder plates were neglected for quicker movements. Crystal-ice was her crown, keeping the hair in place.

Sword in her slim dominant hand,
she whip-lashed into the Dark,
without fear,
or remorse,
only vengeance.

great title, lured me in. And I came in expecting the unexpected, another interesting twist, well written again.
