Black Death Sojourn

By snakeskingrin

Deep in mist, unhallowed earth
Forsaken souls revive
Obscene blasphemy of birth
Hidden drawn toward light
Whispering reverent tones
Desecrated moldering bones
The whispering
The whispering
Began to stir the bitter earth

Singsong flow of time is lost
Cursed beneath the earth
Evil slowed, but at what cost?
Soulless grin with frightful mirth
Ancient snare to trap the dead
Pretty lair, deep primal color red
Ancients weave a spell
Ancients weave a spell
The ground began to spew the lost

Cold evening breeding secrets long
Dark knights reborn in death
Earth held these vicious remnants
Frost stilled the evil breath
Blood moon rising, shadows loom
Chanted words bringing doom
Fall of the innocents
Fall of the innocents
Black death sojourn long
