conclusion

By Crush Room

and my little bare hands
cup my face to the window
as I try to peer in...
i rub the glass in an attempt
to see things a little clearer
i squint again...disbelieving

familiar stinging, then tears
carried by a deep sigh.....
a sigh of acceptance
that has eluded me
and my flowery thoughts
for a little bit too long now.

strangely, although i am
grieving for myself
i am happy for you.

it's taken me a while to add up,
(i've never been good with numb.ers)

but finally, this equation make sense.....

or does it?
