How Sweet The Sound

By Mirage

The expansive emptiness of an echoless room

The resounding nothingness of walls that boom

Listening with broken ears while spoken fears remain silent

Polluted by sounds of hollow screams
I follow screens of tomorrows dreams

To nowhere...

To know where the noise is going you have to go where the waves flow on no air

Where volcanos are as quiet as a riot in a bottle with its cap screwed tightly

Where no sound escapes...

Not...even...slightly...

Explosions in silence though they draw no attention as they flash without light

And expose their intention

Nylon sounds are deployed in the void
as they vye for position where they'll all be destroyed

Attentive as I listen, though bleak all around

Listening to nothing,
How sweet the sound...
