Sorrow

By Child of GOD

Walk me through the desert, and leave me
so I can die alone.
walk me through the ice, and leave me
so I can cry alone.

Why do you smile,
when filled with such pain?

walk me through the desert, and free me
so I can sing sweet sorrow.
walk me through the fire, and grieve me
so I can die on my way home.

Why are you singing,
when filled with such tears?

walk me to the desert, and kill me
so I can finally be home.
walk me to the river, and burn me
so I can drown my way home.

angels with silence,
sorrow in their wings,
wave calm and sweep anger.
they sing praises and long
to wake up the dying world.

I saw the created sing aloud
to wake itself
to a beautiful world that hates.
colors of sorrow become the rainbow.

I saw the Creator send out love
to wake up the sleeping ones.
this sorrow. to see
the world so blind and dead
waddling in its filth.
sorrow to see out loud
a beautiful dying world.

Why are you afraid?
What do you see?

Wake me up till tomorrow, so I can be the dead.
