Escape to unreality

By to love a psycho

I walked across the city line
In the hopes of an easy way in
to a more interesting way of life
But didn’t know where to end

I yearned to create a superhero
Out of rags
But couldn’t find the right shade to match my eyes

I was out of shape
And out of time
So I crossed the city line
To find a new hope to believe in

I made a world of paperbacks
And daydreams
A labyrinth I was too happy to be lost in

Crouched in my cave made of pillows
And thick blankets to keep me warm
Nude to the worlds surroundings
In the innards of a false city life

Cradled in the arms of my worlds creator
And too happy to be found
