Someday, You Will Awaken!

By Organized_Chaos

You cycle through a series,
Of profound words,
Stretching out your legs in horror,
As your life flashes before you.

The sound of smashing metal,
And sorrowful screams fill your ringing ears,
As your body is rattled and torn,
This, my friend, may be the day that you have feared
Since the day that you were born.

Sirens,
Shocks,
And flatlines,
The pain...
Pain...
What pain, you feel nothing,
See nothing,
Hear nothing,
You are nothing.

Your life is in danger,
What life...
Your eyes may be open,
But your soul has abandoned you.

Don't Cry...

Now you have awakened,
You are some place new,
Don't think of anything
As the equivelent of life,
Because there is no life here.

You scream, but noone calls back to you,
You cry, but noone comes to your aid,
You run, but everything else seems to slow down,
Now what...
You have no reason to smile or even live.

Grasp your heart in despair,
Close your eyes in fear,
As the horned beast approaches,
Fear not,
It's just a figment of your imagination,
Supernatural phenomenons roaming about in your mind.

But someday you will awaken,
Awaken from this nightmare.
