vagrant technician
By chrome arctic
I sold patches of ‘borrow’
Refit old shapes for distance
Wipe dust to leave new streaking
I wore your face just for today
They’d say; “there is the architect”.
Acceptance for wrong reasons
I fade in real time
Vagrant technician
I fused ‘breaking’ with ‘context’
I gave sorrow something to show
I broke north to rebuild it
I injected concrete to feel negative glow
I fail on contact
Vagrant technician
You turn rain into softly sung sweetness
You take rage, and break it of it’s bite
You take truth and mask it in strict framework
You take my heart for cellophane
They worded their old concerns
They said ‘voice’ and counted down
They whored innovation
They took perfect fragmentation and pieced it together
I fall on anger
