Watchful Eyes
By Angelic Demon
I follow her. Through every tree and around every corner.
As she arrives at her destination her lover embraces her. They kiss and
make love, knowing their love is true.
I watch these two people start for round two. But so the story goes her
husband came home. Drunk once again as the entire world spins, I watch
as he hears his wife's plesure moans. Into the room he sees his brother
on his wife. I can see the rage I can see the knife.
In and out what a simple task, as blood covers his shirt he takes a final
swig of his flask.
I can see this gun protruding from his belt, he pulls it out, his cards
are delt.
I watch the police cheif identify his daughter in angery tears he screams,
" Any witnesses? What happend?"
The deputy can only shake his head in sorrow and only looks at me.
" The only who had seen, is that damn cat. "

This is powerful. I like how it flashes forward. I love the ending, almost humorous. I really like the flow of your poetry.
