You Can't Save Me

By darkestburningstar

You always ask me why
I did what I did
Why did you take all those pills, cut your self?
Why have you said what you said?

Then you ask what you can do to save me:

Don’t you know I’m too far gone?
I’m way too out of here
It’s like I'm stuck inside of this song
And I will stay stuck to stay away from what I fear

I will never let you in
In to what I think into what I see
You would never understand anyway
What is deep down inside of me?

And if I let you in to see
Just to get one glimpse
Then you would know real fear
And why I haven’t been the same ever since

YOU CANT SAVE ME

A little kids innocence taken away
A smile replaced with anger and here to stay
The reflection in the mirror looks back at me
Is the reflection filled with hate and deceit?
Once a clean slate ready to face what ever came
Just now a pile of nothing filled with shame

YOU CANT SAVE ME

So you ask what you can do for me
And you are not gonna like what I say
Just kiss me now and say good bye as you walk the other way
Continue to walk and save yourself and have a happy life
And when you hear the gunshot blow remember how you HAD a beautiful wife

I CANT BE SAVED
