Chatham Poem no2 (I See You Baby)

By Petra Creffield

Chatham Poem no2 (I See You Baby) I see you Chatham Down Under My window. Inside i watch the flame Down Under My heart. You call out her name Down Under My breathe. Of the ships that sailed Down Under The sea. Old sea dogs rest Down Under Your bridge. Full bellied daughters gossip Down Under Your clocks Call girls are calling Down Under Your docks Me I stay buried Down Under My duvet Waiting for the day Waiting for the way When I come out and say Hello. ©Petra Creffield 2006

No offense intended but I found it to be somewhat humorous. The rhyming going on and then the whole pop up hello. it was nice nevertheless
