Diseased Dream

By InsipidTouch

The beating heart of a mindless machine
Turning and twisting everything you say
Speaking of total chaos and imagination
Breathing thin air and slowly collapsing
Scatter your letters to make up words
A million liars in such a small state
Confused figuration of morbid tranquility
There's been a death on hallmark tonight
Bright lights of hope crash like opposites
Perfectinly obscene and never fully alive
Stitch your eyes shut so you don't see
Blood smeared down your lips to your stomach
Inside your organs are eating each other
Vultures are picking at your crackling skin
There's foot steps getting louder outside of you
Come to life and breathe one last time
Just so I can pass the minutes by your smile
Blooming white roses in a field of shadows
Haunting chills to awaken the lonely
So open your eyes and gaze at the stars
I see myself shing in them as you die
