Senses

By GirlintheBox

If only he could see
the moonlight dancing
amidst her teary eyes
As she watches her falling star
fade away in the oblivion

If only he could hear
the breathless whispers
escape her crimson lips
As she wishes the sound of his voice
to tell her sweet nothings

If only he could feel
the tearing of her heart,
the twisting of her stomach
As she longs for his embrace
just one more time

She so desperately...

wants to taste
his candy kisses

to smell
his fragrant cologne

But the pills were too much
So now he is gone.

So she stands at his grave
on this cold dreary night

with no aspirations
and no hope in sight

her will is gone
as is her meaning of life

so she clasps in her palms
the cold steely knife

"No reason to live, but reason to die.
No will to succeed and no reason to try."
