Shadow Poetry.



This will be a recurring contest with no set frequency. There is no set format or specific theme to this contest. The only criteria are that the poem must be dark in nature,
AND THE TITLE MUST INCLUDE OR BE LABELED THE WORDS:

"Shadow Poetry"


The contest will be judged on a fair 25 point scale as follows:

25 Points

Creative Merit: 10 points

(Good poems usually are written when the author takes time to write a good poem, does the poem have a point? moral? story? or is it just whining?)

Element: 10 points

(Metaphor, Rhyme, Allusion, Allegory, Format/Structure, Alliteration, Simile, Personification, etc. At least something, used, not overused.)

Meter: 5 points

(A good poem is easy to read and the ideas flow well, simple, this is a poetic element, but crucial enough to hold it's own 5 points. Poets usually tank hard here.)
