The Waning.

Autumn has arrived, well at least most of us here at DarkPoetry.com, and The Tribe of Cain would like to mark our return by celebrating it with a contest.
For this contest I would like you to write about the triumph of Autumn over Summer. Perhaps the poisoning of the sky and trees... the withering of daylight and forthcoming of coldness.. use your imagination!
The contest will be judged on the following scale.

Creative Merit: 10 points
(Good poems usually are written when the author takes time to write a good poem, does the poem have a point? moral? story? or is it just whining?)
Element: 10 points
(Metaphor, Rhyme, Allusion, Allegory, Format/Structure, Alliteration, Simile, Personification, etc. At least something, used, not overused.)
Meter: 5 points
(A good poem is easy to read and the ideas flow well, simple, this is a poetic element, but crucial enough to hold it's own 5 points. Poets usually tank hard here)
