Criteria:
This contest will be judged by myself on a 30 point scale, on 4 specific criteria. Below I will give the point totals for each criteria and a brief explanation.
:::Poetic Element:::
10 points
(Use of poetic elements such as rhyme, metaphor, allegory, alliteration, personification... etc..)
:::Meter::::
5 points
(You don't have to use a specific meter, the more fluidly the poem reads the more points you'll be awarded.)
:::Proper Format:::
5 points
(You must use the letters of ONE of the seven deadly sins as your base letters. The seven deadly sins are WRATH, GREED, SLOTH, PRIDE, LUST, ENVY, and GLUTTONY.)
EXAMPLE:
(S)ome people are so
(L)azy that their pets
(O)ften eat their own
(T)urds because their owner
(H)ave a gaming problem and never feeds them.
***Note : These parenthesis are completely unnecessary, and in fact slight frowned upon. Please just use uppercase lettering for all base letters.
:::Creative Merit::: 10 points
(The less cheesy and more evil the poem turns out, the better your score will.)
