The next contest is for a good old fashioned ode, but this time to Gothic Architecture. Sure we're serious. Seriously.

We have noticed that the vast majority votes coming in are not taking into account the requirements of the contest, this is probably because nobody bothered to learn what verse is. Understandable, it is somewhat complicated and perhaps more technical than our membership is used to. Currently only ONE of the current 5 contenders qualifies for the prize. So what we will do is take all the works that got at least one vote and DP staff will judge that list once voting closes on Thursday. So the results you see on Thursday will not reflect the real winner, the winner will be announced after we have had a chance to review them and select the one that best fits the contest requirements.
