- "I believe pride plays a part simply because it's at that moment that one has the choice to either fight back, and show weakness, and a need for another person, or let them go and show the strength go on alone. Pride is a fickle thing, one that I will never fully understand. And yes, the subjectivity is more directed at her here, and the way that the same thing can make people feel so different at different times in life. I often wonder what would happen if the human mind decided to stop making life and love confusing for us. Would we be happier, or would the complacency be worse than the heartache that we have now?"
