  • "The thinking man's poem; a pleasure to ponder OT. It seemed to take a deeper level with the "scale to scale" portion of the first stanza. "The blind can see in dreams" - wondering if it might be so, even for the never-sighted? The never -ending duel from childhood; of heart and mind for our tarnished souls. Hardened by time and dulled by pharmacopoeia in the personification of a needy bug. Cheers my friend! - Dan "

  • "An extended metaphor maybe on the old adage about "He who hesitates..." or "Paralysis by analysis". We grow overly cautious and cling to things lost forever, that foreshadow a bleak future. Life is short OT - cheers! - Dan"
