  • "Good heavens,thank you! Sorry about the confusion in the author's note. Yes, I did write this poem, but it's supposed to be the work of one of my fictional characters (in a work in progress)...I thought I was clear enough, but I can see with hindsight why it looked odd. Also, before posting this poem, I had to promise that it's my own work, otherwise I'd be a plagiarist! So yes, it's my original work, and your response has me thrilled speechless and very moved. "
