So cold here alone.

By Midian

It is so cold here as I sit alone reflecting on my past life.
The needle pierces my existence as my life comes pouring to the ground.
All I am is the actions I have taken, and what I am is what I fear.
Self reflection shows no image, like a vampire who feeds on others.
Leaching trying to suck the life from the world, I have become so cold here alone.

I am so cold from inside my soul, that old familiar love of hatred I embrace.
A black spot in an even blacker world, with no purpose just damage done.
I become one with the shadows so that I feel not what they do and who they are.
Lost in this world hiding my scars from those not able to understand.
Now I sit waiting at the gates... feeling so cold here alone.
